Just noticed that Steam Dreams are offering a trip from Euston to Worcester via Kidderminster. There is an option for passengers to travel on the SVR.

It seems we are not a big enough an attraction to warant a through train. Both Swanage and Minehead are favoured with through trains

To the enthusiast I am sure we are a big attraction, but both Swanage and Minehead are sea resorts which is of greater attraction to families with young children, therefore more "bums on seats" for operators.

From the Steam Dreams Rail Co web site [as viewed 23 February 2019].
https://www.steamdreams.co.uk/tours.php?tourid=72111#

Reported that London & North Eastern Railway, 61306 Mayflower is rostered.
Whilst this locomotive is rostered for the trip listed, it cannot be guaranteed

Estimated timings:

Arr Severn Valley Railway 12:25. Dep 18:00.
It is assumed the estimated timings relate to Kidderminster mainline station? .

This forum post is a snapshot extract from an external web site and is not necessarily updated to reflect change. Always refer back to and check the original site to confirm details are still correct.

SVR Table 'A' timetable in use on 30 March, I believe?
