    Open House Weekend: April 6 & 7
    Spring Holidays: April 13 - 26
    Family Fun Weekend: April 27 & 28
    Spring Diesel Festival: May 16 - 18
    Mixed Traction Day: May 19
    May half-term: May 25 - 31
    Food & Drink Fayre: June 1 & 2
    Step Back to the 1940s: June 29 & 30, July 6 & 7
    Summer Holidays: July 20 - September 1
    Day of Dance: August 3
    Steam on the Road: August 10 & 11
    Comedy Festival (TBC): August 25 & 26
    Classic Vehicle Day: August 31
    On The Buses: September 1
    Autumn Steam Gala: September 19 - 22
    Autumn Diesel Festival: October 3 - 5
    Christmas Gift Fayre: October 26 & 27
    October half-term: October 26 - November 3
    Ghost Trains: October 26, 30 & 31

So the autumn diesel festival is becoming an annual event.

There is quite a lot of events and may put quite a strain on staff and crews. In 2018 there were quite a few last minute filling of vacancies in the guards dept

I did think the recent class 50 gala was very good indeed. I wonder how the 2019 diesel festival will be able to better it?

It depends if they can get another anniversary gala of one type or will it be a mixed gala like the Spring one is? I hope its the latter, maybe Western Region Hydraulics.

The 4150 Fund ran them until 2016 and the Charitable Trust ran one in 2017 but not in 2018 and apparently not in 2019 either as you say. Maybe it is seen as duplicating the Open House weekend?
