At the bottom of http://www.svr.co.uk/ it refers to "the tingle of bells". Shouldn't it be tinkle?

Tingle is feeling, tinkle is sound - although it does have other meanings.
which page? I can't find this.

I couldn't copy and paste as it was part of a facebook link - looks like a different message appearing there now, or somebody has changed what it originally said.

This was it:- "On a quiet day, once the train has departed, you can often hear the clunk of levers and the tingle of bells; have you ever wondered where these sounds come from, and what they mean?

Find out for yourself at Open House Weekend (April 7th & 8th), when three of our beautiful Signalboxes will be open for visits throughout the day."

"Bewdley Museum with it’s café"

No apostrophe needed.

That was as far as I got reading the article.

Hi Pete

http://www.svr.co.uk/EngineHouse.aspx and http://www.svr.co.uk/Engine-House-Extras.aspx both still refer to 2017 exhibitions

http://www.svr.co.uk/EngineHouse_OpeningDatesTimes.aspx refers to Table C (there is no table C)

http://www.svr.co.uk/EngineHouse_Tour.aspx the virtual tour comes up with a blank screen (W10, Google Chrome)

Regards

Patrick

The Captcha feature has been updated and the old one we've got is no longer working, making it impossible to subscribe.

http://www.svr.co.uk/MeetTheLoco.aspx?id=20 lists 2857 as operational.
Either it's been on the wrong list since it was withdrawn for repair a few months ago and I've only just noticed, or it has quietly returned to service unannounced!

2857 is in the 'Operational steam locomotives" section of the website because that section contains locos that are available for traffic, or are undergoing relatively short-term maintenance, as is shown in the section at the bottom of that page. We don't move locos out of the 'operational' section unless and until they are withdrawn for major overhaul.

It is not listed as 'available for service' -- it is currently shown as "valve & piston exam". It has been in steam a few times in recent weeks, and will hopefully be back in service very soon.

Where and when to see you favourite locomotives.

Missing an "r".

https://svrshop.co.uk/

"Couse every season calls for a whole new wardrobe"

https://svrshop.co.uk/pages/faqs and https://svrshop.co.uk/pages/terms-conditions appear to be pages from the clothing manufacturer's web site and not relevant to SVR customers.

Apart from that, and the fact that the "Deal of the day" is exactly the same price as all the other shirts, it's a bit underwhelming for a shop that's taken a full time professional Commercial Manager well over two years to create.

On the Main page, the Falling Sands box slides in from the left and stays there, obscuring the Calendar & Timetable drop down link.
I can get round it by specifically selecting it in Google AdBlock, but it could do with an X button to easily close it.

I've just worked out that you can also get round it by clicking on the News sub-heading. This opens a new page without the slide in box, so you can then hover over Plan Your Visit and access the Calendar and Timetable from the drop down list.

There is now an X button on it; you may need to clear your cache to see the modified version.
