annunciation = intimation of the Incarnation made by Gabriel to Mary

annunciation = an announcement of something (formal archaic)

I would tend to agree but I had copied directly from my Pocket Oxford.

I notice from the SVR 365 Office that S4 on Open House weekend is set S with 8 coaches on both days. Is the diner running both Saturday and Sunday?

Sunday was busy on the railway. Plenty of visitors in the Engine House to see the many model railways.
Most trains I saw were well filled.
A huge thanks to Neil Taylor for allowing the boiler shop to be open for viewing, the first time for several years I think.

Highlight of the day for me was a storming run up from BY to KDR behind that 1874 wonder machine, Bellerophon, with load 4. Incredible little loco!

I don't think we are over-blessed with steam power now. 80072 is returning to Wales tomorrow, and today the only spare loco was 7714 ( and 6023 I suppose)
Set N1 from BH was the 1501/1450 combo with 80072, 34027 and 7802 on the other steam diagrams.

In the works 2857 is still having P & V work, and 43106 was standing with the flue tubes just being removed, for its scheduled quick retube.

Boiler-wise, the one for 75069 is the furthest advanced. Some stay work still required, and fitting of the smokebox. The bottom half of the loco looks pretty much complete.

Rob

I had a good day I didn't go to Bridgnorth as I wanted to look at the model railways at Engine House and Diesel Depot.
