What a swiz the new buffet at Bewdley is.
I ordered Soupe du Jour and they gave me mushroom.
They can't fool me. I've had Soupe du Jour in a proper French restaurant in France, and I know it's tomato.

Obviously went on the wrong day!

Metal thieves dug up and stole a length of signalling cable last night. Luckily, it wasn't connected to anything at either end.
Looks like it was an isolated incident.

One of the drivers was telling me about how driving a steam engine isn't just a matter of pressing a pedal or turning a lever, you have to listen to every little noise the engine makes to get the best out of it.
He said it's almost as if the engine is talking to you, in a Manor of speaking.

I bought a cheap thesaurus from one of the sales coaches at Bewdley today.
I shouldn't have bothered. Not only is it useless, it's also useless.

I shouldn't have mentioned the thesaurus I bought. Apparently, the first rule of Thesaurus Club is "Never talk about, discuss, mention or refer to Thesaurus Club."

Anyway, I failed my signalman exam yesterday as it turns out I'm colourblind. I had no idea that I suffered with this condition. The news hit me straight out of the purple.

The annoucement of the 2019 SVR Comedy Festival special event conjures up all sorts of silly ideas in my mind and sounds like fun. Could be a queue for humorous remarks?
