Well it has gone quiet on this topic now, still going in my blog though!!

Thought this was an unusual photo to add as a one off, taken from a video - which was never uploaded nor a photo added to my gallery, the two SR Pacifics at Arley. I did notice the loco crew taking photos though! 34053 was at the rear of a northbound train.

In my case it's gone quiet because I don't have a blog or similar, so any pictures I add are held on the SVR Wiki where they can normally be found on the appropriate 'On this day in SVR History' page. I'll keep doing occasional postings in this thread, particularly if something interesting or unusual turns up, but I don't want to upload lots of 'run of the mill' photos to the Wiki just to display them here.

Your blog posts are greatly appreciated, by the way.

Cheers Robin, I keep finding things I've forgotten about, like the 2 Pacifics together at Arley. Photos and videos get "stuck on the shelf" so to speak, waiting for a rainy day - trouble is, other things keep getting in the way. To be honest, I've forgotten half of what I've seen over the last 15 years and there is so much that never got uploaded or indexed - so searching won't always find results.

Not my photo, but 16 August 2004, Fishermen's Crossing.

From BBC News.
