It includes 45041 “Royal Tank Regiment”, based at the GCR. AFAIAA this loco has not been announced anywhere else?

Patrick, is there any possibility of you speaking English please, AFAIAA, yes I know what it means but you are demeaning our beautiful language by using it. Of course you could choose other words to describe what you want to say.

Edited for accuracy as well as English.

The roster includes 45041 “Royal Tank Regiment”, based at the MRC. This loco has not been announced anywhere else as attending the gala.

Is it attending the Spring Diesel Festival? I had only referred to the roster.

The roster shows it operating after the Festival. http://www.wsr.org.uk/news.htm#1424 suggests it will then go to the WSR in a convoy from Kidderminster.

Reference to the GCR was taken from the GCR's own website http://www.gcrailway.co.uk/the-railway/locomotives/45041-2/ though I see Preserved Diesels show it to be based at the MRC.

The roster will be updated as 45060 is no longer attending

Maybe 45041 is a replacement for 45060? I also notice the page on the diesel festival doesn't mention the non availability of the clas 40 from ELR due to over running repairs.

PS the roster still lists 45060 as running a diesel turn on Wednesday 23-05-18, this must be a typo.

PPS between 16th and 20th July 45060 is listed as alternative to 33108.

I notice that 37688 is booked for a diesel footplate experience on Sunday 10th June and then the diesel diagram that week from Monday, how will it haul our stock when it is air braked?

37688 was on the roster to be working on Monday 28th - It announced on the SVR Diesels Facebook group today (Tuesday 22nd) that it will now be D821 Greyhound operating the services on Monday.

Also, a class 50 is out on the Evening Scenic Cruise on Saturday night as the work on the DMU is still progressing.
