I thought 50007 only returned to the SVR last night from her mainline excursion to Carlisle? Quite a busy loco.

Didn't see any advance notice but 50007 was up the Dark Side to Derby this morning. Fortunately l noticed it on rtt but didn't think it was actually going to run as it wasn't showing as being in the exchange siding on signalling diagram. Then it suddenly appeared at the last moment and was soon away.

thanx, but I wasn't clear -- I use realtimetrains a lot! I meant your reference to the exchange siding on the signalling diagram.

Sorry Pete, I misunderstood what you meant!

The above is a free version. There is also Railcam, which has an annual "donation" for full access.

I use Railcam (and/or Freightmaster) which has the facility to add loco numbers to any of the trains which appear on the diagram, but the basics are the same. I was waiting for the headcode to appear in the box that says "SHUT" which would indicate it was in position and ready to depart. For some moves the loco or train might show there an hour or more before departure.

You're welcome! Comes in handy sometimes when a train gets looped or sent a different route. With RTT it just goes missing as it does not appear in its booked place, but it should show up somewhere else on a diagram.
