Is it possible to correct the date for GWR 813: date built/completed is June 1901......not 1900. Thanks

Nick
The one problem here is that different sources give different dates. e.g. http://www.greatwestern.org.uk/port_talbot.htm shows June 1900 for 813. Are you absolutely certain it's June 1901?

From the Window download http://www.svr.co.uk/pdf/From%20the%20Window/FROM%20THE%20WINDOW%20final.pdf is a 2016 edition with 2016 membership rates

Even if there's no reprint, presumably updating a pdf might be possible?

As I think I have mentioned previously, the share offer doc should be removed from that page as the offer is closed

Regards

Patrick

There's a dead link on http://www.svr.co.uk/OurFriends.aspx The SVR Engineering Services web site at http://www.svr-engineering.co.uk/ seems to have disappeared.
Do you think you could replace it with http://www.svrwagons.uk/ please? Very Happy

We're celebrating steam locomotive's No. 2857's 100th birthday!

...was built in 1903, and the locomotives of this general design...

...showcasing the changing face of freight traffic from the 20th century, right through to the modern day on Britain's railways...
there should be at least one 19th century wagon in use.

just done; only just seen this -- I wasn't aware of the changes -- probably like a lot of people, I've not been able to get on the forum. Having info on the forum telling you how to get onto the forum isn't exactly helpful!!
I needed to reboot my PC for the first time in some weeks, which is presumably why it suddenly worked for me....

The calendar pages for May June and August are all showing green timetable days. Click on one and, of course, there bain't no green timetable.

At least my app indicates it as "Special timetable may be in operation" etc. as per the printable timetable.

At the bottom of http://www.svr.co.uk/ it refers to "the tingle of bells". Shouldn't it be tinkle?

Tingle is feeling, tinkle is sound - although it does have other meanings.
