24105 is being varnished and the interior nears completion except for the toilet.

9654 mechanical work is now complete and it has been moved into the carriage shed until there is space for it at Bewdley to complete the interior .

27220 has replaced 9654 for a mechanical overhaul.

27220 is now complete and has been replaced by 24105 to have all the bogies and running gear checked. On 24105 the only job is completion of the toilet which requires a lift anyway to route the soil pipe.

27218 has replaced 24105 in the paint shop for a repair to the roof and wood work around the toilet in the north east end.

24105 is now complete and back in the set.
27218 is continuing to receive attention to its corner post and surrounding framework.

On the mechanical side 4550 has received attention to its wheelsets, 24015 to heights and repositioning of the toilet soil pipes and now 25498 is receiving its scheduled bogie overhaul.

At Bewdley 6045 has left the paint shop and been replaced by 9615 for major repairs. 2119 has been placed outside the joinery shop for a long overdue overhaul.

27218 is almost complete and receiving a re-varnish after touching up of the lining.
25498 is back in traffic and 3103 is now receiving it's scheduled bogie overhaul.

27218 is complete and am most of you know 2701 came in for Graffiti removal. Is i removed now but there is lining to repair before varnishing can take place.

In Feb 1146 will replace it for the same treatment.

3103 is complete and is being replaced by 3 toplights for vacuum cylinder and DA valve attention. 2886 is inside for brake work.

2701 has been completed and is back in service.
16169 has replaced it as 1146 is being re-varnished in the carriage shed.
On the mechanical side there have been buckeye repairs on 34562.
The toplights came in for DA valve and Vacuum cylinder work to be replaced by 9220 for more vac cylinder work to be followed by 80776 which is a major job of work.

16169 repairs continue in the paint shop whilst in the works 2886 is receiving attention to its brakes and 80776 has had its handbrake removed in preparation for the alterations to make it suitable as an invalid diner.

80776 is back outside waiting to replace 16169 in the paint shop as soom as 16169 has progressed far enough to return to outside the shed.

17410 is inside the mechanical section next to 2886. It is receiving brake rigging repairs and its wheels are out. When back together it will go for tyre turning,

Both 2886 and 17410 are receiving attention to their paint work and lettering.

16169 is back outside the works and is waterproof with newly painted roof.
80776 has replaced it and body work repairs have begun. It is being converted to a disabled Diner accommodation.

In the mechanical side 17410 is complete waiting tyre turning and has left the shed. 9627 has come in for vacuum cylinder repairs and 2886 is over the pit having final work completed on its "Midland Railway" brake gear.

80776 is having major body and roof repairs in the bodyshop. It will be there for some time.

On the mechanical side 17410 is complete having had its tyres turned and brake gear overhauled. It has been signwritten and is now operational.

Work on the undergear of 2886 is complete apart from some parts for the bearing springs. Painting is progressing as a volunteer job.

The bogies for 80776 have received attention and now 1856 is in for its due bogie overhaul.

On the mechanical side 1856 is still the main job but meanwhile a few repairs have been necessary:
2701 replace a coil spring
26880 replace another coil spring
27220 replace a vacuum cylinder.

An update on Kidderminster work.

80776 is a major job but good progress is made with almost half of the body repaired and windows back in.

On 1856 the bolster springs have been reseated after removal of corrosion. The packing above the axleboxes has been rnewed to even up the height. Work is now concentrating on the brake pins and hangers.

Work on 80776 continues. Work is being concentrated in the other saloon body repairs.
2886 is being lined out.

1856 is now completed and 2300 has entered the shop for modifications to its brake hangers to convert it to use BR brake blocks.
1086 is being repainted in Bridgnorth paint shop and 9653 re-wiring is progressing well in the carriage shed.
